Halong Bay Tours
Though Paradise Cruises only launched their first vessel in 2008, the foundations of the company were laid a few years ahead with the building of the bridge linking Tuan Chau Island to the main land and the ensuing possibility to bring passengers to a private pier, a service never yet proposed by cruise companies of Halong Bay.
The concept of the company came along, to offer a unique cruising experience in the World Heritage site, blending Vietnamese traditions and multi-faceted culture with the highest standards of hospitality worthy of world-class grand hotels and, thanks to visionary ideas and unequalled customer services, standing out among the four or five hundred boats sailing across the bay every day.
After four years of careful planning and cooperation with Vietnamese and Western architects, designers and consultants, Paradise Cruises launched their first boat, Paradise Luxury I, in November 2008, soon followed by Paradise Luxury II in March 2009.
The fleet expanded subsequently in 2010 and early 2011 with a new Paradise Luxury (III), a brand new generation of smaller, highly intimate and sparklingly elegant private boats, Paradise Privilege I and II, and two Paradise Explorer day boats.
In the meantime, in their constant effort to provide an ever-better quality of service and accommodate their guests in the utmost warmth and comfort, Paradise Cruises opened a luxurious Café & Lounge area a few meters away from their private marina.
A new addition to the Paradise Luxury Cruisers (IV) is to be completed by June 2011.
Paradise Cruises are furthermore currently using all their artistry to revolutionize the world of Five Star Cruising to launch in the next few months Paradise Peak, an utmost luxury vessel whose qualities go far beyond the most extravagant imaginations.

15.00 | Arrive at Cua Van floating fishing Village. One of the largest floating villages in the bay – rowing around the village by local rowing boats – captures the daily life of the local fisherman. |

16.30 | Enjoy the cooking demonstration and discover the Vietnamese cuisine. |
17.00 - 18.00 | Arrive at Tung Sau (Pearl Farm) area – relax at leisure, enjoying our beauty and massage service or swimming, kayaking. |

Children’s Policy:
- The FOC rate for children under 5 years old is applicable for 1( one) child sharing a cabin with 2 ( two) adults.An extra charge of USD 25.00 per extra bed if required to set up in the cabin for 02 days/ 1 night program or USD 35.00 per extra bed for 03 days / 2 nights program. An extra charge of USD 10.00 per baby cot for 02 days / 1 night program or USD 15.00 per baby cot for 03 days / 02 nights program if required. This extra service is subject to Paradise Cruise availability.
- The child rate for children from 5 to 12 years old is applicable for 1( one) child sharing cabon with 2( two) adults. In case the child occupies the sole cabin , the rate fo adult is applied.

TRIPS NOTE
Climate
- Halong Bay has a humid tropical climate. There are however four seasons in the North. Winters last from December to March; they are rather dry and temperatures can drop down to 12°C-17°C. Summer is from May until September, mostly sunny but rain showers are frequent as the humidity is higher. Spring and Autumn are nicely warm, October to early December being the best time to visit the area.
In your bag
- No dress code is imposed onboard Paradise boats. We advise you to take light garments in Summer, sweaters and/or a jacket in Winter as it can get pretty chilly, especially at night. A raincoat will be useful any time of the year.
- If you intend to do kayaking, plan to have a change of clothes as you will easily get wet.
- As for shoes, choose what is appropriate according to the temperatures and bring along trainers/walking shoes for the excursions (visiting caves, hiking, cycling, etc.).
- Don’t forget your bathing suit!
- If you are cruising for 3 days / 2 nights, you will be transferred on the second day, from about 8.30 AM to 4.30 PM on our day boat, Paradise Explorer. You can plan to have a small backpack to take to the day boat as you will be able to leave the rest of your baggage in your cabin.
- Whenever travelling, it is highly advised to carry with you mosquito repellent, wet serviettes/baby wipes and/or hand sanitizer, aspirin/paracetamol, stomach troubles medicines, etc.
